our history

De-Lucky Child Nursery & Primary School is a brain child of a seasoned educationist with broad experiential knowledge, Mrs Chinwe Patricia Anyanwu in her quest to accomplish her dream for better tomorrow, decided to open a school to offer the much needed sound foundation education for all-round development and academic excellence: thus, the motto “Education is the bright future”.

The school was opened on Monday 16th August, 2002 for the 2002/2003 academic year at a rented temporary site. With much efforts and commitment to actualize the vision and mission, the school was moved on 15th September, 2004 to its permanent site located at Ishen-Olu Estate by High Tension way, Odogunyan, Ikorodu, Lagos State.

We thank the almighty God for the transformation, significant improvement, and new heights the school has attained which could be ascribed to the determination, perseverance, and hard work of the founding team. Palvis College is the secondary arm of De-Lucky Child Nursery and Primary School. However, it is obvious that education is not what the government alone must provide if it is to be effective. Therefore, to complement our governments efforts, the proprietor of De-Lucky Child school decided to start a Model College which offers world class education at affordable cost.

On Monday 20th September, 2010, the college was opened for 2010/2011 academic year at De-Lucky Child school premises. The school conducted its first common entrance examination on Friday 25th September, 2010 and started academic work with four teachers and three students who were the products of De-Lucky Child school. Since then, the school has maintained steady growth and great transformation by stepping up from one new height to another.
